An NBN satellite service is automatically reinstated when the data quotas across any 28 day rolling period are calculated as less than the maximum. Automatic reinstatement occurs nightly at 2 am for all eligible services.
The following is an example scenario:
At 4:20 pm on the 15th of the month the 'total' data quota utilisation reaches 150 Gigabytes for the previous 28 day period. This triggers an immediate service suspension for the associated AVC. At 2:00 am on the 16th of the month the total data quota utilisation for the past 28 days is recalculated. Option 1: If the total is less than 150 Gigabytes for the past 28 days the service is automatically reinstated. Option 2: If the total remains equal to 150 Gigabytes for the past 28 day period the service will remain suspended and reassessed on the 17th of the month at 2:00 am |
