What happens to my data when I leave my university?

Your login permissions are granted by your institution - once they are terminated your data will be not be deleted but you will no longer have access to it.

If you are moving to a new institution that is also federated with the AAF, Please do the following


1. Request current institution IT approval for data transfer and forward this to the AARNet support team.

2. Log in to CloudStor with your new institution credentials, after moving to your new institution.

3. Request IT approval from your new institution and forward that to the AARNet support team.

Once AARNet validates the requests, Data transfer from the old account to the new account will be initiated.
