How does AARNet Zoom Cloud Recording work?

This page explains how the AARNet Zoom CloudStor Recording works.

The "On-Prem" host of the meeting has the option to "Record on this Computer" or "Record to the Cloud" during the meeting or automatically at start of meeting.

If it is a recording to the cloud, the host will receive an email to access the recordings after the meeting has ended. Meetings hosted by "On-Prem" user type will be recorded within the AARNet Zoom on-premise infrastructure. When the recordings are ready, the recording files are transferred to CloudStor and the host of the meeting will receive an email detailing the share URLs to access the recordings.

Users at AAF member institutions who sign in to Cloudstor can also review all their recordings collectively  - please see Where are my Zoom cloud recordings stored?
