File Sender supports full end-to-end encryption (AES-CBC SHA-256), assuring nobody (not even AARNet) except you and your recipient ever see the files.
Basically your file is encrypted in your web browser and then the encrypted file is uploaded. The recipient downloads the encrypted file and then decrypts the file in the browser (provided the correct password is entered).
Note that encryption upload speed depends on a combination of the web browser, OS, CPU and RAM of the uploader and downloader.
We do not recommend you enter the password as the subject or message of the file transfer. Please use another means of sending the recipient the password. Perhaps a phone call on an encrypted phone.
