Do I need to take any action when a DDoS is detected?

No.

For customers who are on-boarded to this service, the DDoS mitigation is fully automated. You can observe the status of DDoS mitigations actions on your DDoS Protection Portal.

The AARNet NOC will be notified, along with any of your staff (by email) who are registered in the DDoS Protection Portal. However, AARNet will not contact you unless other related incidents are observed or reported.

If you believe that there is an ongoing impact to your services and that further intervention is required, please contact the AARNet Operations Centre immediately.
